Reesenet Addition: Iggy
Some of you may not know, but a few months ago we gave Bella to Mel's sister and her family. Bella was a bit too hyper for us and was needing more attention than we could give her. So Mel's sister Emily took her to live up in Alaska.
The house was feeling a little empty having Bella gone and Alpha (our cat) was getting lonely. So we looked around and found some people in Utah county selling Mini American Eskimo puppies.
This is Iggy. He's a couple months old and he's a pretty cool dog. He isn't hyper like Bella though he does like to play. Mostly he just likes to sit and cuddle.

Reesenet Flashback: San Diego Trip
A few months ago Mel and I took a weekend trip to San Diego to see a family that Mel had worked with while she was on her mission. This was quite the occasion as the Mother and Father were going to the temple to get sealed.

The ceremony was nice and afterwards we used the time we had left in town to see some of the sights we meant to see on our honeymoon but didn't.
This is the USS Midway. This aircraft carrier is an older Tiger class carrier and was decommissioned several years ago. What makes this ship special is that this ship was stationed in Japan were Mel grew up. This is also the type of ship Mel's father Kent served on. Top Gun doesn't really relate to you how cramped (and tiny) everything is. There are pipes everywhere and the only place I didn't have to bend down in was the main hanger! The coolest (also scariest) bit of info I learned was that they assembled the bombs in the mess hall while people ate there! Crazy!
We also went to the beach while we were there. Ian got sunburned really bad. Ouch.

Fun in Hawaii
This it what it looks like if you are sitting in the back of this car and you are driving in the back of this car and you are on the highway
While we were in Hawaii we rented in piece of crap Suzuki Tracker that did not have roof and in Hawaii it rains everyday and we got rained all the time, but it was fun and we made a lot of fun memories.

Anybody out there?
It's been nearly a year since this blog has been updated. That's not saying we haven't been doing anything, quite the opposite. Mel has taken on a huge amount of school besides being a mom and wife. Ian does have a busy schedule too, but nothing like Mel's. So we're going to start this thing up again. We've got a few new tools that can make this easier to do and if you have any info you'd want us to share or pics to put up let us know.

Meg and Adam get Married
Mel's little sister Megan got married on May 12, 2007 this year and decided to do it in Hawaii. They wanted to get married on the beach with the waves rolling in. Unfortunately Ian was unable to go, but Mel had more than enough fun for the two of them.
